I started Desi Design Co. to make the kind of homes I always wanted to come home to — warm, layered, and unhurried.
I’m an interior designer based in the Sandhills of North Carolina. Before the studio, I spent years collecting and restoring pieces for friends and family — the kind of work that taught me that a great room is rarely the product of a single big move. It’s patient, particular, and a little personal.
My approach is editorial but practical. I love a long-considered upholstery edit, a vintage rug with a story, and a kitchen that actually gets used on a Tuesday. I think a home should look like the people who live there — not like a catalog.
When I’m not at the studio, I’m most likely with my family in the garden, hunting estate sales in the Carolinas, or re-arranging the same bookshelf for the third time this month.
